From Murray’s Diary
We had a very useful PCC this week during which we talked more of our plans for Sunday 13th March when Bishop Cyril comes to St Paul’s for our morning service.

The PCC also approved plans to replace the piano in Nave of the church with a digital instrument.  Though it is the best of the three pianos we have it now goes out of tune very quickly (despite all of David’s attentions).  A digital piano will be much more useful for a number of reasons though it will cost nearly £2,000.  It will be easier to move about, does not go out of tune and can even record music.  Enid has generously pledged more than half the cost in memory of her parents and people are invited to contribute in thanks for the ministry of our Worship Group.  More information next week.

From Murray’s Diary
This week the Strategy Group will be meeting for the first time.  Its first task is to take forward the work done at the Church Futures’ Day in the autumn.  Once we have finalised the Vision Statement we can begin to make sure that this statement guides and informs all our thinking as a church.  The group will also work on the other great ideas which came up in the groups which met on the Futures’ Day.

Thanks for your prayers last week – the conference was great, really inspiring!
